The Boardman Spartan Marching Band will help kick off the 180th Canfield Fair with two special performances on Opening Day, September 3.

At 10 a.m. on the Concourse, the band will participate in the Canfield Fair Opening Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting, proudly performing the National Anthem.

Then, at 11 a.m. in front of the Grandstand, Boardman will open the Traditional High School Band Show, featuring more than a dozen local marching bands from across the Valley. We are excited to perform alongside these talented and entertaining bands and share in a morning of music, energy and school spirit.

This year’s performances are especially meaningful as the Boardman Spartan Marching Band celebrates its 100th anniversary. Since 1926, generations of Boardman musicians have proudly carried on this incredible tradition.
