Boardman Local Schools invites the entire community to join alumni, current students, families and fans for this Special Night: October 2, 2026!

Boardman High School will celebrate 100 years of band tradition during a special Homecoming celebration Friday, October 2, when the Spartans take on Warren Harding.

Approximately 330 band alumni from across the decades are expected to return to Boardman for the 100th Anniversary Band Celebration. At halftime, the alumni will join the current BHS Marching Band for a special performance featuring an ensemble nearly three times the size of the current band.

The celebration will also include the announcement of the 2026 Homecoming Queen before kickoff, making the evening a special celebration of Boardman tradition both on and off the field.

The 100th anniversary event brings together generations of musicians who have shared the experience of performing as a Boardman Spartan. For many alumni, it will be an opportunity to return to the field, reconnect with former classmates and celebrate a tradition that has been part of Boardman High School for a century.
