First and foremost, I want to thank the Boardman community for its support and for believing in our students and our schools. We recognize that this support comes with a great deal of trust and responsibility, and we do not take that for granted.

At the same time, yesterday’s results do not eliminate the financial challenges facing Boardman Local Schools. We still have difficult work ahead of us, and we will continue to make responsible decisions with the resources our community has provided.

We must also continue advocating at the state level for meaningful school funding reform. Our communities deserve a fair, predictable funding system that allows us to provide the educational opportunities our students deserve without placing an ever-increasing burden on local taxpayers.

We are grateful for your support. Today, we get back to work for our students and our community.

Thank you to the Boardman Community and Office Max for the generous donations to help provide Robinwood students and teachers with supplies.

If your child will be a car rider tomorrow, please send a note in the morning. All car riders will be dismissed at dismissal time out door 3 (car rider door). Please do not come to the front door after the parade. We need to make sure everyone is dismissed safely.

It's Red Ribbon Week--and today, students at Robinwood Elementary received special Red Ribbons from two officers in the DEA.
The officers had helmets, vests --binoculars and other tactical gear that the kiddos could try on...

Red Ribbon Week is a nationally celebrated annual campaign that teaches elementary students to make safe, healthy choices and to stay drug free.

Boardman Subaru surprised our teachers at Boardman Glenwood Junior High with a $15,000 donation and school supply kits! ❤️📚✏️

This marks the 10th year of an incredible partnership between Boardman Subaru and Glenwood Junior High. Through the years, Boardman alumnus and dealership owner Rob Fellman and his team have supported everything from our Natural Habitat Garden to science books, school supplies and now classroom resources for teachers!

This year's donation was made through the Subaru Loves Learning® initiative in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org®.
