What a great performance from the Boardman Spartan Marching Band today, as they helped kick off Opening Day at the Canfield Fair.
Section leaders played the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony, where Spartan Alum Bernie Kosar was among the dignitaries on the stage.
The Traditional Band Show at the Grandstand was filled with wonderful music from 14 bands across the Valley-- and in this "100th Anniversary Year" of the Boardman Marching Band- we could not be more Spartan proud!!

Boardman schools will delay the start of Success by 6 kindergarten readiness program until Monday, July 13, due to storm damage and transportation issues.. The time schedule will remain the same 8:30-noon.

Success by six for all three Boardman elementary schools is canceled for Monday, July 6 due to storm damage and road closures. We will let families know as soon as possible. The plan for Tuesday, July 7.

Robinwood 3rd grade class picnic 💕

What started as a normal school day turned into a pretty great surprise for four Robinwood Elementary third graders!

Lucas, Mason, Jacob, and Vincenzo had no idea they earned perfect scores on this year’s state math assessment until members of the Boardman Board of Education, Superintendent Chris Neifer, and Curriculum Director Mr. Cardillo showed up to celebrate them with certificates and congratulations.

A huge shoutout to these outstanding students and to their teacher, Mrs. Racz, for all of the hard work that led to this exciting moment!

Thank you to all our parents and students for coming to walk with Robinwood in the Memorial Day Parade.

Robinwood Lane Elementary had some very special visitors today for Right to Read Week!

Local educator and author Linda Krieger shared how she created four children’s books starring her dogs, Lilly and Livingston, teaching students how stories are built from the things you know and love.

The biggest surprise came at the end when Lilly and Livingston made a special appearance in person — and the students loved it!
